The student-run accelerator pipeline (Aaltoes, A Grid co-working, Junction hackathon) is the most reliable channel for early-stage technical cofounders in Finland. VTT Technical Research Centre adds a steady stream of deeptech and applied-research spinouts. Most Aalto founders later move their companies to Maria 01 in Helsinki, but they form their first teams here.
